Here at the Ancient Presbytery we know that if the kids have a good time then so do the parents. We have a variety of animals here including sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs and of course our birds of prey. There’s also a secure area for the kids to run about where you can keep an eye on them from the comfort of the terrace (maybe with an aperitif or two?).

  • Tony has a lot of experience doing falconry shows for the younger audience, there’s something really special about the look on a child’s face when an Eagle Owl swoops over their head. Our Falconry Experience.
  • Cooking with Mum is a treat for most kids but how about cooking with Lisa so Mum gets a rest too?
  • How about an introduction to clay pigeon shooting for the older children?
  • Futuroscope (www.uk.futuroscope.com) is just over an hour away and has so much to do that it’ll be a full days outing and possible more. There’s now a 4D adventure to go along with the 3D cinema, the chance to dance with robots, fantastic shows, restaurants, Children’s World with rides and events etc. etc. etc.
  • Less than an hour away are The wolves of Chabrieres, (www.loups-chabrieres.com) a great opportunity to see these magnificent animals and they also have a petting zoo.
  • Limoges has an aquarium (www.aquariumdulimousin.com) which is well worth a visit, some fantastic historic buildings and museums and a great covered market.
  • So you get the idea there’s plenty to do for all ages and we really do put an effort into ensuring each and every member of the family has a great holiday.
