Falconry course, Le Dorat, Limousin, France

We offer an introduction into the fascinating world of falconry with the chance to fly our resident European eagle owls, Sapphire & Scooby and Cosmo the Harris hawk. The Falconry course is held on site with the team at our bed and breakfast near Le Dorat in the beautiful Limousin region of France. If you're not local why not spend the night?

Tony spent many years in the UK running a Falconry centre before moving to the Limousin and has had an interest in falconry and birds of prey for as long as he can remember.

The 3 hour falconry course will give you an insight into the training behind what it takes to work with these magnificent birds of prey. You will learn the basics of diet, fitness, health and history, the complicated falconer's knot and how to fly the birds.
